Obviously without the sun we wouldn’t be here but I don’t think people give enough credit to the moon. Without the moon there would be no electro-magnetic field holding the atmosphere in place in which case life would not have happened. Also if there was no moon revolving around the earth the gravity of the sun would keep the earth facing the sun without revolving, like the moon revolves around the earth always the same side facing. If that were the case one side would burn the other freeze. So without the moon we would not be here. Without balance there is nothing, like Buckminster Fuller said ” Entropy is not random; it is always one negative tetrahedron”. The geometrical force that all things adhere to couldn’t grow without decay. Life is finite, death is finite, they need each other to exist. Infinity is the form that upsets and corrupts all others, as the Pythagoreans would say.
